It depends on the contract. But halving the days of makeup for half the cast was probably not a small thing.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
They could save money on supporting cast. But as far as I know, regulars aren't paid by the hour, they're paid by the season or by the episode. Crew's gonna be different, tho.
Right, I'm thinking about crew. I should've been more specific about that.
omg
Pain and heartbreak ... followed by Looney Tunes. Help!
Shit, it doesn't feel like a 22 episode season! I hate this Summer Finale crap, Teen Wolf. I hate it.
Weird not having that to catch up on this week.
I was surprised they made explicit both of the things I saw for Scott's future--I was not thinking he'd both be so noble he could level up Alpha with zero pack, but also that he had a pack of mostly people. Go show, for all your other faults! Both wishes fulfilled, and I somehow ended up enjoying not!Amelia who turned into not!Ruby.
I had been imagining alpha as a mentor role, but it seems to be a magical game of tag (Peter is now it because Derek isn't? Why couldn't Cora be? Because she never was? WHAT IS GOING ON??). However, the proper role for Stiles has now been named--Emissary. Excellent. Wolf, Emissary, Hunter, Banshee--what do we call Isaac? Fluffy?
Woobie.
We don't actually have any proof that Peter is an alpha now - he may have been ranting metaphorically. That said, he had a sneaky look of triumph after Derek declared he was healing Cora no matter the cost, so maybe if the alpha spends his or her power down past a certain point the title comes up for grab among a pack? Peter's the oldest and smartest surviving Hale, and between the advanced shapeshifting he demonstrated and being able to arrange his own resurrection, it's clear he knows more about the lycanthopic condition than the others (hell, maybe more than Deucalion).
I'm assuming he didn't pick the word randomly from the dictionary. If he's not an alpha now, I'm assuming the quest for same will occupy his time in the rest of the season. But since he doesn't seem to be the turning type since Scott turned out so well, what can he have planned?
I like Continuum's way with a season finale.
I just finished season 4 of Farscape. What the ...?
Welcome to the feeling all of us watching the broadcast had after the finale.
