Orphan Black is airing on BBCA because it is a BBCA original production, like Copper.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Arrrrrgh! Why does Hulu only have 2 seasons of Farscape? Why?
Yes, I just watched the S2 finale.
I think Netflix has it all streaming...
I'm getting close to the end of DS9. I know I watched the last season when it aired but I do not remember how anything was resolved.
-t, I was really surprised at how quickly it all ended. I was watching the last episode and didn't know it until it ended. They cover a lot of territory in the last few episodes!
I don't have Netflix. I have the Blockbuster version (but not the streaming) and the mailing service is missing at least a third of seasons 3 and 4.
Woe!
I could loan my discs to you if you want. Seasons 3&4 would be pretty compact to mail.
Aurelia, can you say what the terms are for Blockbuster streaming and do you think they have a bigger library than Netflix?
I feel like Netflix doesn't have a lot of what I want. Or, maybe I've just gotten to the end of their inventory.
DS9 - I've got three episodes left and there are a LOT of threads that need tying up.
According to the new TV Guide (the August 12-25 issue) Farscape will be rebroadcast. Huzzah!
...while Pivot TV has taken over Documentary Channel and replaced it with shows about pop culture and social media. Pivot's lineup includes repeats (Friday Night Lights, Farscape) as well as original programs...
Now it would be nice if Comcast would pick up the Documentary Channel. Or Pivot. Whichever.
-t, thank you but I just pulled the trigger on ordering the full series.
bonny, I've never had Netflix so I can't compare inventory but I know Blockbuster used to get most things sooner and until Amazon started demanding exclusive contracts I was always able to find what I was looking for. I pay $18.35/mo for 2 DVDs at a time with no limit and no limit on in store returns (good luck finding a store these days though). Streaming doesn't cost any more to sign up, just the per movie fee which I'm guessing is comparable to Netflix and Amazon.
