Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

'Serenity'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Scola,

I am all IN for that movie. All in.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I don't know, they may have given away the best part of the movie in the trailer...

The status is NOT quo.

ND is dying to see Sharknado. He owns Sharktopus, their previous movie.

I don't doubt it, but I have to see the movie in context.

Watching the first episode of Under the Dome. It's pretty good.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I just finished the episode where Sisko hallucinates that he's a science fiction writer in the 1950s and all of the cast are different people he knows. Wonderful, profound and disturbing.

DS9 - Best Trek EVER!!!!

IMO

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I am proud to say that the writer of Sharknado, Thunder Levin, went to my high school (he's a year older than me). He also wrote & directed Apocalypse Earth and Mutant Vampire Zombies from the 'Hood.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Certainly one of them, at any rate. Though "Trials and Tribble-ations"is still my sentimental favorite.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

DS9 is above and beyond my favorite Trek.

Unrelatedly, I'm enjoying Under the Dome so far, which has changed enough from the book (which I quite liked) that I don't have to feel too spoiled. Especially because I like the way the mayor is being played -- in the book, he was just a scoundrel and here he's more of a... dare I say it... Walter White?
