Oh! I know this one! 'Slaying entails certain sacrifices, blah blah blahbity blah, I'm so stuffy, gimme a scone.'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think Orphan Black is unclear about that too. I read some article somewhere that early episodes have some NYC references with the police but all the location references seem to be Torontonian.

Art Crawl!!!

I am unclear on that too. I mean, it's filmed in Canada.

Have they filmed season 2 yet?

If so - then probably not. If not, they could possibly make some changes.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think it's obviously Canadian, but our TO office loves it's "American vibe" so...yeah. I think the show is deliberately vague about location so it can make up whatever geography it needs.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I agree Revolution is set in an alternate universe with different physics.

A place where cars, and buildings, and roads degrade at an exponentially faster rate than they do here.

My problem with the location of Orphan Black is that the architecture doesn't look Northeastern US to me. Like, that townhouse Beth lives in? I don't see it.

So I'm on the Toronto-as-setting train.

Which reminds me, I need to finish watching the last two eps!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Yeah when they tracked down the stolen motorcycle I said, 'that looks like Chicago. So it's probably Toronto'.

Nice piece here about Tatiana Maslany's chances to win an Emmy, and an adorable clip of her reaction to winning the Critics' Choice Award.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OB is shot in Toronto, and I have seen Canadian license plates on several cars in the show.
