Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Orphan Black was renewed for a 10-episode second season!
I love everything about her. She rocks my socks. (And I think she and Digg TOTALLY have chemistry, despite Digg getting with his brother's widow.)
I think she pretty much has chemistry with everyone she is in a scene with. She had a lot of chemistry with the Walter. And, speaking of which, someone please tell me he comes back. I really liked him. I totally expect the brother's widow to die tragically at some point.
I also meant to say, I do think the writing improved from what it was in the first few episodes, but the dialogue is still occasionally painfully predictable.
And I'm still wishing Paul Blackthorne was given more to do.

Woo Hoo! I love Orphan Black!
Ted Kord?
Oh my god, I laughed FOREVER. I love it when they do that.
If no-one minds a plug....
TARDIS Eruditorum, which has been analyzing all the episodes, starting with Unearthly Child, has just reached the premiere of the new series. The "Rose" essay clocks in at a lean 13,000 words. He's also been known to talk about other shows relevant to our interests.
Yeah I love Orphan Black too. Seem to me to be doing everything right - little as well as big things. For example revealing back story with in character dialog:
Sarah: "You were the one who introduced me to Punk".
Mrs S (with a sigh): "You picked up all of the attitude and none of the politics."
Or the musical choices. I think the choice of a German version of "These boots are made for walking" when Sarah was faking being the German was brilliantly appropos though I could not for the life of me make an argument why.
"You picked up all of the attitude and none of the politics."
Oh, I loved that. I'm so impressed by this show.
YAY for Orphan Black news. Go team channel! (I want to work for you! Hire me!)
and the most recent one ended with a slow montage over "Ooh Child" (used incredibly literally with shots of surrogate parents telling their grown children that it was going to get easier).
I am evil. I LOL'd and @@ when that song came on.
I think I will dive into Orphan Black tonight, given the glowing reviews.
