A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I went looking to find out what Simpson's shoutout Frankenbuddha was referring to, and found two Dr Who Youtube clips very unrelated.
The first, is a [link] that has a Dr Who spoof with David Tennant in drag.
The second is a [link] that has David Tennant teaching a class with Catherine Tate as a "student."
Both are very...odd.
But not as odd as Simpsons/Muppet show/Procaimers crossover pastiche that floored Andi and I first: [link]
After the first couple of joke bits, the setting the opening of Dr Who with the sound from the opening of the Muppet Show worked in a bizarre and fascinating way.
Okay, I've only watched the Tate/Tennant so far and it's HYSTERICAL. Such delight.
I shouldn't even be in here before watching BSG, but I'm so traumatised by SJA! Poor Maria! Poor Sarah Jane! Poor Dad! Poor entire planet Earth! Nasty Andrea. It's way more disturbing that I was expecting from the target age range.
Hey, Eureka marathon on Sunday!
I think that the SJA stories just get better and better.
I don't like the half hour break and not having any idea how they're going to get out of it.
Over at TWOP people caught Shakespeare in Baltar's sermon - did you guys? I don't know Shakespeare well enough to catch a random quote; plus, he was difficult to hear.
I caught the phrase "undiscovered country," which pinged me because, well, yeah, that's from
Hamlet.
This was the first episode of BSG in a while that I've been really interested in. Less stupid romantic angst, more dramatic conflict! There we go!

That's Catherine Tate's most famous character from her comedy series, "I'm not bovvered" Lauren. Who died in the last series but whose gravestone read "Still not bovvered". Oh, should I have whitefonted that?

Forget poor entire planet Earth, I'm pretty sure Sarah Jane saved the Doctor's life several times back in the old series. And as the Master once said, a universe without the Doctor doesn't bear thinking about.
Oh, should I have whitefonted that?
I have no idea where we're up to on that.
tries to not read about BSG and Doctor Who. fails spectacularly. shrugs.
Hi folks! Am busy watching
The Sarah Connor Chronicles,
and so far am enjoying it quite a lot. In some ways it feels like it bookends with
Supernatural,
if that makes any sense? The latter being mostly All About The Boys and the monsters, the former being All About The Girls and the robots? With both having a familial relationship as the driving, what, romance? (Um, using the term
romance
in a non-erotic way.) Sarah's got John Winchester beat on parenting skills, though. I think. Maybe.
oooh! what ep are you up to, Fay? SCC was probably my favorite new show this season.
