I got my Teen Wolf Season 1 DVD set over the weekend, and sat down to listen to the cast commentary on the premiere episode last night. Probably the most enjoyable commentary track I've listened to since the Wonderfalls set. I think the key is having a young, enthusiastic cast that all get along really well. It really felt more like a bunch of friends getting together for a viewing party than a professional episode review - works so much better than the usual behind the scenes stuff.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Do they have commentaries from crew? I do prefer that to actors, in general.
Yes, there are several with Jeff Davis and the directors of specific episodes. They're interesting and informative, but I haven't found them to be entertaining like the cast one I watched last night. This is one of those shows like Being Human where I think that the out-of-character cast interviews and interactions may be more entertaining than the scripted program.
I do enjoy Teen Wolf quite a bit, but I nothing I've seen with the cast has made them seem like I wouldn't want to throat punch them immediately after the heated makeout session. The MTV post shows were kind of excruciating.
Good thing the paid extras are better quality.
Oh gosh, a lot of that I chalk up to the Tiger Beat- esque hostess of those post shows. I honestly think the cast was rattled by how unprofessional and fangirl-y her questions were.
Geoff Johns wrote this week's episode of Arrow.
Arrow: WAY too much hinting that Tommy is going to get killed. I will be pissed if that happens.
Partly because I'm about 1 more episode away from slashing Ollie and Tommy.
Also, the "Bludhaven Arms" seedy hotel made me laugh, and then I said to Tim, "I'll explain that at the commercial." But he replied, "I know, that's the city where one of the Robins moved."
I gotta marry this man.
Arrow: Man, this show has HELLA parent issues.
I'm ridiculously happy that Tommy knows Ollie is the vigilante. I have no problem with the angst that has generates.
Dang, John Barrowman is pretty.
I really like Arrow, but the blood transfusion thing was so wrong that it knocked me out of even comic-book-level suspension of disbelief. There is a way to keep a curare victim alive, but it's artificial respiration.
Steph, is your profile address good?
I hate when they show martial arts lessons for newbies. So I'm glad, at least so far, that they cut to after the action. But there's no way she's going to learn anything effective that doesn't involve a weapon for months.
