We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Walking Dead: Well, that happened. Why isn't Andrea dead yet? Dear God, I can't even stand her anymore, especially when her comics counterpart is so awesome.

Art Crawl!!!

Wow. I so totally have to read the comics.

Was Rick having a vision of Lori?

Yep. In her wedding dress.

Wow. I so totally have to read the comics.

Pretty much all the characters are better in the comics. I like Glenn and Maggie more on the show. Hershel's better on the show now too, I think. And probably Carol.

But Andrea is probably the worst. At least they kept her prowess with guns early on, but now she's just an idiot. There is no conceivable reason for her to stay with the Governor. And I had no idea why she didn't shoot that guy in the head. Also her speech was ridiculous, especially given that she herself has been in Woodbury for like a week.

In the comics, Andrea is strong and badass and competent and someone Rick looks to for support and advice.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I feel like you're not leaving us that many people to be "pretty much all" with those disclaimers. Are there that many more?

I might need to pay more attention.

I'm assuming their inspirational speech was meant to actually be inspirational, but fuck. You're going to be eaten alive out there should have been enough, and killing the infected is something these people totally need to understand is a fact of this short brutal and ugly life they've survived into.

I think the Governor is wrong and crazy in a million ways, but shooting the man screaming in pain was not it--stalking off afterwards--poor judgement.

She is zero value, and I don't understand her gaining value in the short term. She is safer with Rick, just because I think his current brand of crazy might be more manageable.

I love my sister--I really do. But if she'd pulled that shit I'd not be running off into the wilderness with her right now.

I'm confused by who knows what and who doesn't--why is Michonne public enemy #1? What do they know/not know about her?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Andrea is such a betrayal of the books that there is no redemption. I groan whenever she shows up. As far as the brothers...if my own mother behaved like Merle she would be on her own.

Rick, Carl, Lori, Tyreese, Dale, Michonne, Sophia...really it was just Glenn and Maggie I specifically preferred when I read the comics, but some people on the A.V. Club did point out Hershel and Carol. The Governor is basically a different character, and I like them both for different reasons.

I'm confused by who knows what and who doesn't--why is Michonne public enemy #1? What do they know/not know about her?

Yeah, I was really confused about that too. I mean, she led them to Woodbury, right? So...why does everyone hate her?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

She does not communicate readily and she is Black. Otherwise, I cannot figure it out.

Which is weird because it's not like any of them have ever displayed any sort of "Whoa, black person, better not trust them" behavior before. Michonne has done nothing but help them, as far as I can remember. She doesn't talk a lot (despite the fact that in the comics she talks and has a personality beyond "sullen badass"), so I guess she's a cipher to them.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

She went off and did her own thing during the assault on the town rather than deciding they were BFFs and risking her life grabbing Glen once she'd shown everyone how to get in?

Art Crawl!!!

She knew Andrea was there and didn't tell them?

(Although, how would she know that they knew Andrea?)
