A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Weird! I assumed that meant a documentary, until I clicked through.
They are doing a series of those too, one for each Doctor (in order), and then airing a story from the original series for each. They did William Hartnell this past weekend (I think, or the weekend before - I've been sick off and on the last couple of weeks so stuff has been piling up on my DVR unusually). Unfortunately while I started watching it, I accidentally deleted.
I can't be the only one half-expecting. "One, two, three vials of Vertigo! Mwahahaha" at some point from The Count, right?
I totally was. When they had the conversation about why he was nicknamed The Count, I expected the reason to be because he counts all his vials of Vertigo in a bad vaguely Eastern European accent.
I'm watching, for the first time ever, ST:Enterprise.
At the beginning of episode 2, the thing that I find most interesting so far is that there is a beagle in space.
It get's better, right?
On a related note, I have this quirk where I generally end up liking shows with theme songs I like. Dunno why. Attention to detail, maybe?
For ST:E...Diane Warren...really?
It get's better, right?
Depends who you talk to. I couldn't bear it. I watched the pilot and the finale.
Yeeeaaaahhh...I think that might be where I'm going. Perhaps with a couple of jumps into the middle just to be sure.
Though I have to say, that pooch is mighty cute.
I watched the whole run, and I'm not sorry, but I don't know that I'd say it gets better. Not consistently, anyway.
Enterprise had its moments, but there was a lot to struggle through.
Staying on the channel for the full duration of the theme song was challenging enough.
I stayed with ST:Voyager for several years, but finally gave up. What I saw of ST:Enterprise didn't keep me for a season, despite a fondness for Scott Bakula.
DS9 remains my favorite Trek. Next Generation had some great shows, but when I've seen some of them on rerun, I cringe. In a very different way than TOS, but I grew up watching that, so it's a bit like people who grew up watching the original Doctor Who - I expect to cringe a bit. But with TNG, there was a lot I don't care to see again.
If I had the time, I'd watch DS9 again front to back anytime.
Therefore I need a time anomaly to help me.
