I hate hate what they have done with Vex. Until the Garuda, he was low rent Joker, a clown, but dangerous and frightening. Turning him just comic relief was bad enough. Woobifying him badly, but woobifying - just a thousand times no. Not the biggest problem with the show, but a good example of how they keep making bad writing choices.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I never found him dangerous, but it seemed clear that once he played on their team he wouldn't really betray them outside a Very Special Episode as opposed to episode 3 or whatever. But he's been irritating and a waste of space for me the whole time.
Katie McGrath (Morgaine/Morgana?) from Merlin cast as Lucy Westonra in NBC's Dracula and Nonso Anonzie (from Game of Thrones) - has been cast as Renfield.
BBCA is going to have a tv movie about the creation of the Doctor Who series - as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration.

Weird! I assumed that meant a documentary, until I clicked through.
I thought Lost Girl's ep was incredibly bad. I thought the affected Fae were to regress to younger than puberty - because apparently they get full access to their powers at puberty. So I figured they were supposed to be 10-year-olds, but at times they acted a bit younger than that.
"Spin the Bottle" was so much better.
Dyson's interest in girl on girl seemed a bit hormonally influenced--but they were acting like spoiled five year olds with slightly bigger vocabularies.
Oh, and the Morrigan--I've never really liked the actress, but WTF is that character for??? She makes no sense, and I can't believe she's head of an entire population unless she's magically holding them in thrall or something.
Though, to be fair, the Dark Fae don't make a huge amount of sense.
Early on when Vex killed the Dracula Fae he seemed pretty dangerous. Also, some of the early confrontations with Bo. At any rate I I though pre-Garuda Vex had a point as a vicious and powerful enemy. Yeah, the Morrigan is not being handled well, like most things in this show. Dyson did dance well to "Hungry Like the Wolf", though. And at the moment I have no intention to stop watching.
There is a (probably apocryphal) story about a pulp writer who took a creative writing class in hopes of becoming a "literary" writer. After he turned in his first assignment, the teacher turned to him and said "This is garbage, absolute garbage. So why do I keep turning the pages." Well this show is NOT total garbage, but I have stopped watching shows with many fewer flaws than this one, and am not sure why I keep watching. But right now I'm hooked.
