Wow. I have no idea what to say about that.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Wow. I have no idea what to say about that.
The owls are not what they seem?
So long as there's not a fish in the percolator.
Pushing Daisies is going to be re-aired on the Chiller channel: [link]
Once Upon a Time:
Is Mary Margaret no longer a teacher? It seemed that most people in Storybrook continued to do the jobs that they did before the spell was lifted, but it didn't seem she was working while Henry was a school this week.
Didn't she lose her job when she was arrested? Possibly things got too busy for her to get through the reinstatement stuff. (Of course, now that she is Queen she might not want to teach.)
ION - tor.com's newsletter posted a rumor that JK Rowling may be one of the authors involved in writing the Doctor Who online mini-series.
Doctor Who online mini-series?
Unmm yes. Let's see if I can find details.
Okay, this talks about JK Rowling:
Allons-y! Expelliarmus! A rumor is circulating that the magical J.K. Rowling will pen a piece of short fiction featuring our favorite Time Lord from Gallifrey. As reported recently, a series of eleven Doctor Who stories is being comissioned as online “e-shorts” in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the show, to be followed by a paperback release of all the stories in November 2013. Interestingly, all the stories are said to be written by “well-known children’s authors.” And while names like Philip Pullman and Anthony Horowitz are being bandied about, the biggest rumor is that J.K. Rowling will write one of the stories too!
Okay - I was confused: it's a series of short stories. The authors will be announced on January 11th.
Thanks, Sumi!
