Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Does McKellen in other villain roles bother you, Bonny, or is this one particularly close to his Gandalf delivery?
ita !, I think it really was the delivery that bugged in this particular case.
I'm thrilled for his success, but he is so over exposed right now, his presence throws me out of whatever he's in. I think the last time I saw him as anything other than Gandneto was Gods and Monsters.
Huh. I hated the Prisoner, but that was someone else to me. As was his Lear. Another hate-but-distinct was his Da Vinci code performance, which really deserved nothing more than rote.
They're advertising Merlin as "before the sacred ring" and...all sorts of spinning and spitting in my brain. I can't actually reconcile that into an accurate statement, and even if I could, how can Merlin benefit by dismissing, you know, good stories.
My bias, I shows you it.
Once Upon A Time marathon tonight. OMG, I love the pirate ship pulling into Storybrooke! Hooray for more pretty, pretty Hook!
Damn, I missed it.
Also - I discovered that there was a K-9 marathon on Syfy on Christmas Day. I have no idea if that show is any good but I would have liked to have given it a try.
(Yes - that's the Doctor Who k-9.)
And the final cast member of the S.H.I.E.L.D. series has been cast. Now I have to figure out who she is on Nashville.
Now I have to figure out who she is on Nashville.
Is that Gunnar's girlfriend who works at the record label?
Oh, I bet you're right.
Mrs. Patmore from Downton Abbey is going to be on Once Upon a Time.
