Gah, I am so pissed off at TVD! What the hell?
I haven't watched last night's Last Resort yet, but I can't ever follow the political situation on the island or off. When Andre Braugher tells me what's happening, I believe him, otherwise I have no idea. But that works for me.
My main problem with Last Resort is that I can't seem to follow the politics on the island , except that it's run by a bad guy and it may have untold mineral riches.
I did a marathon and I must have skipped an ep because I'm constantly going WTF is going on?

It's a prequel to the special, and then a trailer for the special itself. As spoilery as these things usually are.

apparently I'm running a marathon wrong.
I have seen all the eps and remain baffled. Why does this island have Polynesianish natives with fictional and unlikely native ceremonies, but people of various other racial and ethnic groups seem to be in charge? Why are the natives invisible until needed? When did Robert Patrick's character become a good guy? Aren't they going to run out of beer soon?
Sadly (at least for me), it's just been cancelled. I don't understand why I can't just have Andre Braugher always on my TV, pwning people.
Damn. We'll never know what happens when they run out of beer. I really liked a lot of the characters, particularly Andre Braugher, but I think it would have flown better if it had stuck to the evil president storyline and left out a lot of the island stuff.
