He said something about it, that it was always funny, something like that. I didn't completely catch it, I was distracted by noticing that he crossed himself in the Orthodox fashion rather than Catholic. I couldn't remember if anyone used it as a weapon or not.

Yeah, erasing April's memory seems like it could cause problems down the road, but that was more abot Elena being able to glamour her (or whatever they call it. Too many vampires with different lore!)

Orthodox? Was that when he went right to left instead of left to right? (I just thought it meant that Somerhalder wasn't raised Catholic, or Episcopalian, etc.) But, yeah, I'm thinking in this 'verse vamps can still be Christians/Catholics.
