Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

'The Girl in Question'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Speaking of Charlie's Angels, is anyone watching 666 Park Ave? I want to like it, but I just really hate the lead actress. And I think that I'm going to get annoyed with the people doing stupid shit to get what they want.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Vortex,

the blonde actress you mean? I saw the pilot and she irritated the fuck out of me as did her BF. I started yelling at them halfway through. I finished the pilot, but I'm not going back. I cannot deal with watching that level of stupidity every week.

Not even for Vanessa Williams.

I'm recording it so I can fast forward for glimpses of Scott Speedman Jr.Robert Buckley skin, but haven't been able to make myself watch the 2nd episode yet.

Because books.

Was this where we discussed American Horror Story last season? The first five minutes of the season premiere are here.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Are we talking about Teen Wolf here? I'm watching it in Netflix. The coach is everything I hated about gym class in junior high. I can see why Stiles is a fan favorite. So far Derrick's just been loomy and broody.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does that mean you haven't gotten to the parts where Derek is stupid yet? He really is exquisitely dumb. I'm not sure what the writers' intent was, but he can barely tie his werewolf shoelaces. Stles outmatches him at everything werewolf-related except fang to fang combat, and Scott isn't as far behind as you might think, given he's been wolfy for ten minutes, and Derek's been that way his whole life.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I thought the parts where Derek is stupid = the entire show.

He does seem competent for a couple of episodes at the start of Season 2.

No, mostly Derek just wanders around and looks irritable, so far. Threatens whatshisbutt, the lead, occasionally.I've seen Stiles' dad, though. He's kinda pretty.

I'm having difficulty remembering specific moments of him being not dumb yet, but I am willing to allow they might exist. But with the good-heartedness of Scott and the brilliance of Stiles and the badassedness of Allison, well...
