Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

TCG mentioned that all the nuclear power plants would eventually melt down when the electric cooling systems stop working.

The cores would melt, but they probably wouldn't have the release of radiation Fukushima had, because there are manually operated pressure relief valves that the operators couldn't get to because of the earthquake damage. Of course, since the laws of physics have gone insane, perhaps there would be no decay heat.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just watched Revolution on Hulu and was highly amused that all of the ads were for cars and smart phones.

I did find myself trying to figure out the logic of the geography (silly, I know). If the village were Hoffman Estates it would make sense to go by O'Hare, but from there to Wrigley -> State/Lake -> somewhere west of the Hancock Bldg is an awful lot of extra steps for people on foot.

Art Crawl!!!

Mark Pellegrino, Todd Stashwick and Colin Ford are all going to be guest stars on Revolution.

You know, I'm far more interested about what happened in the immediate aftermath of the electricity going away than I am in the timeline that the show has.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

You know, I'm far more interested about what happened in the immediate aftermath of the electricity going away than I am in the timeline that the show has.

I'm guessing there are going to be plenty of flashbacks.

I sometimes miss when shows come back after hiatus. In case this every happens to anyone else, Haven is back on tonight (10 PM in my time zone, though I don't know if it applies to everyone,.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So, in case you did manage to hide from all the press, they did announce that next episode is the last with the Ponds. Stuff was filmed out of order, so this shot from this week was actually the last scene they filmed with Matt.

I'm sure they can make it more sad next week, but that's plenty sad enough to be going on with for now.
