A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Am with Jess re: Six/Tigh.
Skulls (I think that was his name)=hot.
Did you (all) notice how when Six was lifting Baltar up to take more of a beating from the guard who wouldn't let him into their... living space?... that they filmed it so that it actually looked like he was being lifted up by something, but you couldn't see anything. That was so weird and out of character for how they film Baltar WRT to Head Six. He looked like a rag doll. Creepee. Why'd they do that? Does it mean something, or is it just a fun thing to try? I wonder.
I know - that was really weird. (At TWOP people are suggesting that it means that Head!Six is real.)
But real and invisible? Haven't people moved through her physical space before also?
The Gaius scenes for me are easily the weakest, and messing with Head!Six even more so.
Everything seems to be vibrating at a higher and higher frequency, just tumbling headfirst to shaking apart at the seams. I realise I don't have any optimism for the fate of the human race.
That would totally rock, if it ended with the Cylons winning. Or everyone dead.
Of the four new Cylons I can imagine Anders maybe taking Athena into his confidence eventually.
I could see that too, especially with Leoban aboard & all of them cut off from the rest of the fleet. (I doubt she'd just airlock him, for example. She might laugh in his face - would that be worse?)
I don't think HeadSix is real, but I think Baltar's belief in her is strong enough to manifest in disconcertingly physical ways.
Oh, forgot to mention my other favorite bit - Baltar/Tori "I think I liked it better when you cried." BWAH.
it actually looked like he was being lifted up by something, but you couldn't see anything. That was so weird and out of character for how they film Baltar WRT to Head Six.
Totally! That was a WTF moment for me. Are they changing the rules now about how Head!Six manifests, or has she always been able to physically manipulate objects and we just haven't seen it before now? Very puzzling.
Aw man, and poor Chief. His scene with Adama was so awful to watch.
I just assumed it was from Baltar's POV -- much like the Final Four are shown having hallucinations while in the middle of conversations.
Yeah, I didn't think it meant Six was real or anything, but that's how Baltar would contort himself since he believes she's real.
That episode was full of a lot of chatter. I was not a big fan, which was sad because it was Jane! I love Jane! But not on this show, it seems.
I just assumed it was from Baltar's POV
But up until now his POV just had her in it. Why this new angle?
I didnt like this episode, despite being written by JE. I guess I could go into why but it just seemed weird and disjointed. I really feel that the mood of the entire show has changed- more chaotic, but in a mental, not physical way.
