A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Has Kenzie ever hooked up in the course of the series? I'm trying to remember and can't think of any instance.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Not that I recall. She was all flirty with the pizza guy but gave up after Bo whammied him with her succubus touch. And there was the guy the banshee wailed for, but I think they spent all their time trying and failing to save his life.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

LeN, I'm a little late on it, but her drinking is making me uncomfortable too. And I say this as someone entranced with Dean's alcoholic subtext (and worried as fuck they'll actually deal realistically with it over the break and have him go into withdrawal--is it because I don't want him to suffer, or because I don't want the issue to go away when we're not looking (since they usually pick up in the fall)? Don't know).

I quasi-randomly just read my first Teen Wolf fic (Stiles/Derek) and...I really liked it. Like, it made my memories of the show kinda nicer. This is a couple days after watching my first Teen Wolf vid, and my dash is now peppered with its photosets, since a couple people I follow from a distance are getting into it.

I'm all...I don't remember all these people properly! I need to rewatch before S2! But it doesn't look like MTV is re-airing. But they do have a one hour refresher/teaser. So...that.

Yeah Kenzie definitely is a problem drinker. Not only Baba Yaga, but drinking on the job during the Mongolian Worm thing.

But at the same time, Bo is a hard drinker herself, as is the Fae crowd. So it is possible that nobody would see it as problem, and just see occasionally passing out or doing something really stupid (and maybe life threatening) while drunk as just part of her personality. Bo and Wolf-boy are not that bright. And the rest of Bo's friends while not necessarily stupid don't show much sign of having good judgement. So it could be a while before anyone notices Kenzie has a drinking problem. I'd bet on Trick to be the one to notice it if anyone does. Maybe Lauren if she actually spent a lot of time with Kenzie. Not Bo, though. I mean if Bo has not drawn a connection between Kenzie's drinking and Baba Yaga, I don't know what could cause that lightbulb to go off.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm thinking that a bunch of mythological creatures from Ireland that seem to primarily hang out in bars are not the best crowd to associate with if you want to avoid developing a drinking problem.

Hale's noticed. He just doesn't seem to care to do anything long term about it. The difference between "too much for me to date" and "intervention".

Based on comments he has made? Or just body language?

He told her she drank too much for him in this week's episode. I think he sees it, but he's not taking it on. No one else seems to really have put any value judgement on it, just pointed it out, so far.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Just based on the general attitude of the Fae towards humans, it's possible that no one feels Kenzie's drinking is anything they need concern themselves with. Bo will care when she finally notices, but she'll probably get mad that Kenzie's drinking interrupted her total focus on Bo.
