Apparently gunpowder still works.
I love Tim Guinee so much and have for a long time, but his name is like mist to me. In fact I thought I guessed "Tim" because he'd been on a Tim show. Quite surprised to be right.
'Potential'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Does it "scientifically" make things like steam power and levers stop working too?
::handwaves madly::
This is a show designed by and for people who are scientific illiterates. HAVE WE FOUGHT AND DIED IN VAIN?
I'm not going to say that it's designed by scientific illiterates, but just that they clearly don't care.
They may not be scientific illiterates, but they're doing a really good impression of it.
As far as I can tell, enough of the errors we pick apart are shortcuts, or things they decided to sacrifice for the sake of a story that I'm not going to say they don't know basically what they're doing.
Or, heaven knows, errors they perpetuate because it's a stylistic expectation--I've heard people say they know planes don't drop out of the sky, but that they're feeding the misconception because too many people get disappointed if they just come down realistically.
It's that whole "sound in space" thing.
I'm enjoying reading y'all complaining about the premise, but when it comes right down to it I will probably be able to suspend enough disbelief to enjoy Revolution quite a bit.
I am so much more a part of the problem than a part of the solution. So much.
I enjoy being part of the problem.
I will probably watch Revolution, because I'm a sucker for the post-apocalyptic. The settings are so obviously Atlanta that I expect I'll be entertained by their pretending they are elsewhere.
I also expect to yell a lot.
Yeah, at least SM Stirling just called it magic.
Yes, and his idea was exceedingly stupid.
Yes, and his idea was exceedingly stupid.
Also patriarchal and fascist and weirdly fetishistic about ethnicities. I could only read the first one.
-t, I join you in being part of the problem.
Well, its Fox. Chances are it won't last.
(I am very pleased and surprised that both Grimm and OUAT have made to second seasons.)
