Does anybody else miss the Mayor? 'I just want to be a big snake.'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

God, I'm just all about the spoiling. Spoil spoil spoil! Gah! Want Torchwood!

TW 2.06: Yeah, I don't think killing Owen is for keeps, at all. But I'm willing to be surprised.

Torchwood 2.05:

Actually, I was rather disappointed by this episode. I thought it was thisclose to being very good indead, but didn't quite make it. Perhaps it needed some more about Adam's raison d'etre, or something. Plus the Ianto bits were so painful that I could barely watch, and the Jack bits bored me rigid (I know they weren't supposed to, but...). There were some lovely touches, though, like the couple of Adam scenes sneaked into the trailer, and the acting was superb, as ever .

It reminded me a lot of that Next Generation episode where they've had their minds wiped and one alien has sneaked aboard and pretends to be a crew member. Anyone else remember that one?

I only watched the first ten minutes of TW 2.06 before crashing out. I probably won't get to it until Friday, as Ashes to Ashes is on again tonight.

re: Torchwood scheduling - epguides suggests that the UK is skipping from the 13th to the 27th. So - we won't stay 20 days behind.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Haven't watched Torchwood yet so skipping white font, but had to share:

Someone in my neighborhood has Torchwood's SUV (complete with blacked out windows).

Fangirl keeps doing double-takes.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

You're safe as long as they haven't pulled up beside you, rolled down the windows, and asked if you've seen any blowfish in sports cars.

Torchwood 17: NYC

They really don't know how to keep a secret, do they?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, I've been sucked into the wormhole of Farscape fandom... I gave up on waiting for iTunes to release season 2 and just bought the DVDs....

What are the best episodes of season 2? (Don't tell me what happens.)

Boy.

That's tough. "Crackers Don't Matter" is fun. The three parter "Look at the Princess". .. uh, "The Way We Weren't", "Liars, Guns and Money" (another 3-parter)

Are you really not going to watch them all? Because with Farscape it really pays to watch them in sequence due to the increasing arciness of the show.
