A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm a sucker for the parent-kid interaction where Walter hauled out the birthday present He was just so...broken. Repeatedly breaking himself, emotionally slamming himself into a wall in order to make himself feel.

Peter, being the well-balanced one here, gave a hug worthy of a Winchester, and the unsure and yet more heartbreaking look on Walter's face and didn't hug back, like, maybe he didn't know how they worked, or that he deserved one, or anything.

The mythology of this show is confusing me lately. This world is going to be changed into original world? We know that, but the characters don't? I'm missing the worldbuilding components like whoa, but I should possibly stop watching it early Saturday morning.

So Once Upon a Time starts on Brit TV this evening. Worth watching...?

Yeah, fun as long as you don't expect the fairy tale characters to include a logic fairy.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Typo Boy is right. I liked the earlier eps better than the more recent ones though.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Also, their definition of what stories to include seems to be "classic stories that have been made into Disney movies." It's a hot mess, but here I am, still watching.

What Ginger said too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know, we've never gotten a reason why Regina adopted Henry. She doesn't appear to know anything about his mother's relationship with Storybrooke characters....

Regina is evil AND emotionally needy. She wants love, though only by her own twisted definition. That may not be all there is to it, but it is definitely there. She definitely wanted a child. In fairy tale land at least one plot point centered around her trying "adopt" kids and punishing them when they wanted to stay with their Father.

Early on it was made clear that in our world she "bought" a child from Mr. Gold, and it was his choice to get Snow and Charming's grandkid.

Ah! So quite possibly Mr. Gold knows the true parentage of Henry's mother.

I thought the kid they had playing young Snow White was spookily good -- she had the mannerisms down.
