The conspiracy business is disappointing. So unnecessary.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
it's so weird too because I love conspiracy theories. it isn't working for me right now. or at least not working for me as something I'm supposed to care a lot about.
Thing is, I don't care about a conspiracy about the car crash. If there were some sort of conspiracy about what the fuck is going on with him, that would be more interesting.
If there were some sort of conspiracy about what the fuck is going on with him
If there's a thing.
If there were some sort of conspiracy about what the fuck is going on with him, that would be more interesting.
See, I would hate that a lot, I'm pretty sure.
Well, the point is, there doesn't need to be a conspiracy about anything.
On that point, we are in agreement.
I almost always do not like conspiracies in television plots. Part of it is a left-over X-Files twitch, and the rest is from my inability to believe in large-scale conspiracies because my experience says no group of people can keep a secret for very long. In terms of drama, my experience is that few television conspiracies stay consistent or ultimately make a lick of sense.
So - Grimm last night. Monroe continues awesome, after being downplayed a bit for two episodes. Also, one scene (quoting from memory but pretty close) had one of the shortest examples of contrast in acting ability I've seen on the show.
Monroe(facial expression shows worry) You do have a plan don't you? You just have not gotten around to sharing it yet
Nick(probably his face is supposed to convey "plan, what plan?", but really all we see is no change from his usual blank expression.
Monroe(totally horrified, reacting as though Nick's face had conveyed what it is supposed) Oh. My. God. (As he realizes that they are about to face a dragon, pardon draken-Fuherer, with weapons that are completely useless against that species and no plan or idea of what they are doing.)
Two lines; acting ability chasm between the actors the size of the Grand Canyon.
Ginger is spoiling my fun.
