Simon: The decision saved your life. Zoe: Won't happen again, sir. Mal: Good. And thanks. I'm grateful. Zoe: It was my pleasure, sir.

'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I did the same thing, and totally agree.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Well a chance, not neccesarily all the way there. At some point I presume her acting will get good enough that she sells you on feeling sorry for her (or whatever) directly.

I've now seen the pilot of Awake. We don't which is real, or if either is real, or both, or neither. And given the way it is set up, they can keep that unknown through the whole series if they choose. (Not saying whether it would be a good choice - but nothing in the setup prevents that.)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Is this the place to mention that they're not going to be doing any more Terra Nova?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'd think so, Toddson. I just saw that. They're trying to shop it to another network, in part because their overseas sales were very good, but it probably costs too much. Maybe they could just keep using the same dinosaurs, like Dinosaur Comics.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently Netflix is going to look into it. Don't get distracted, Netflix! Just mail me my shit quickly!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Maybe they could just keep using the same dinosaurs, like Dinosaur Comics.

I could actually get behind that. Especially if Ryan North were involved.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

WTF, mummy jumps on the motorcycle and can balance the thing right off? Is there a biker chick background we're missing?

Ooh, conspiracy! How terribly cheesy! What show am I suddenly watching?

I was also a bit offended earlier in the ep where Michael's wife was basically being forced to accept and adopt *his* method of grieving (by the narrative, if not by Michael himself).
