Wesley: We were fighting on opposite sides, but it was the same war. Fred: but you hated her…didn't you? Wesley: It's not always about holding hands.

'Shells'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's a scientist with a prominent role in the show, and this is what tips the scales?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Hey, did not say it was a rational reaction. Besides dealing with magic scientifically or even assuming that magic represents an alternate/unknown set of scientific laws is not the same as bad conventional science. And too small to "tip the scales". Just gave me a wtf moment, which this show is not short on.

Art Crawl!!!

Alcatraz: looks like they're just going to play the episode that would have been last night next Monday instead.

I have a recent Alcatraz on my TiVo. I haven't checked to see which ep, though...

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Oooh, Walking Dead tonight is FUN!

I am getting *really* annoyed with the gender role stereotyping on the show.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

At least now they seem to be showing it as something the characters (other than Andrea) are enforcing rather than the Right and Natural Way the World Works. I didn't get the impression we were supposed to take away that Lori was right from that confrontation.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's Alcatraz: NASCAR Edition, as I just discovered.

I didn't get the impression we were supposed to take away that Lori was right from that confrontation.

Nope. Sure made me hate Lori a lot, though!

At this point everything Lori does makes me hate her. Even the other week when she finally showed some competence, my reaction was "Wait, you mean she's actually capable of offhandedly killing walkers while dazed by a car crash, and she's just been useless all this time by choice?!?"

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I don't really like any of the women and I still want Shane to die bloody.

Except that Andrea never challenged Lori's premise.
