The problem with the cop is that she is "taking too much". But apparently from the cop's conversation with the Siren he really likes her "taking too much". approximation:"Remember that nymph". Siren makes appreciation noises. "Lost her number and I don't even care." So if she wants to not weaken the cop but continue to see him romantically she has two choices. As you say, she can stop in time. Or she can't not stop in time, but see him less often. In either case she will get less sexual energy from him and need to see other people. That is true in general. She can't get all she needs from one fae (unless that fae can take more than the cop). She certainly can't get all she needs from one human. If she is not going to kill, she is going to have to date multiple people.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Fringe cast talks about tonight's episode. [link] Also, Blair Brown's name for alt-Nina is Meana. Heh.
I saw that earlier, and I can't wait! I loved Joshua Jackson's (that's his name, right? I should just call him Pacey) "... hot Observer on Observer action, but only on the internet. Fox won't show that." He cracked himself up!
Man, Fringe is fucking me up. Now I don't know what's going on.
"Do you love Olivia Dunham? Not her. Not me. Olivia Dunham"
"Beyond hope."
You know, I REALLY hope Peter or Olivia will let SOMEBODY know that the Nina they have in custody isn't Meana.
Huh.
Four weeks?
Sigh.
t, FWIW, this wasn't the episode the creators wanted to go into the break with. On the good side, we'll get 8 straight episodes to resolve All of This.
Yeah, that'll be good. I feel like I almost get what's going on in a few instances, if I could just have a little more information I might see it, which I'm finding more frustrating than being completely lost. In a good way.
I can't help but think that highlighting the palimpsest talk is significant, somehow.
