You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yeah, I had to mute the scene of Emmas "big reveal" because I knew that it would end badly.

Art Crawl!!!

This guy has been cast as the lead in Arrow - the CW's version of Green Arrow. (I think.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, he has a heroic jawline, but he looks severely dodgy with facial hair. I wonder if that will be a requirement.

Why does Lost Girl make me think so much of Buffy? Is it a lack of spend in the creature FX department? I can't put my finger on it. Or maybe this past episode on Sy Fy was just a bit too Reptile Boy, but not.

Except I don't think Bo has enough of a personality. She likes to fuck, and is on the spectrum between likes to tussle and does not mind tussling. Don't know her taste in music. Is she a reader? She's been poor and on the run, so I'll give her a pass on us not knowing anything about her food tastes except that she likes milkshakes. I mean the Winchesters at least had the income from pool hustling and credit card fraud and so on that Dean could discover his love of pie and whitecastle burgers. Bo probably had to eat what she could get cheaply and did not have luxury of being fussy even on the junk food level. But in general we don't know her well enough to make her a person rather than a plot point. She digs hot men and hot women and long bubble baths, none of which I'd think of as distinguishing traits, especially not in as succubus. Her mask for the world is a bright hard smile, which I guess is a personality trait, but we don't have a lot hints as to what is behind the mask.

Well, if I'm going to be Supernaturally pedantic (which, you know, I always am), we don't know Sam's taste in music, and Dean has never expressed a liking for White Castle burgers (we might be able to pin Jimmy Novak down to that, but not Dean). I'm only three episodes into their world. I don't mind not having the "But Dad raised us like soldiers, remember!" redundant exposition a la SPN pilot.

Come back to me in five episodes, but for now, a gradual reveal feels like it could still be happening, as opposed to an omission of details.

I do know enough about her to know that she refuses to be on the side of good, even though her actions pretty much seem to align with good. This isn't like Dean bucking the angels--I think it's revelatory in and of itself.

I do hate her sidekick, though. I want to burn her fake hair and then piss on the fire.

Art Crawl!!!

I thought that this week's episode was like a weird combo of Reptile Boy and Beer Bad. I mean because of the revenge against the privileged kids. . .at least the bartender in Beer Bad wasn't feeing the students to a monster.

Sure. I'm still watching. But we need to get more eventually. Also not sure it is good she is not refusing to join. The dark fay are pretty clear evil. But are the light Fay really good? AFter all the trial by combat was a joint operation. And it seems like there is agreement by light and dark fay alike that Bo will have to be put down eventually. The barkeep (brownie? elf?) seems to be kind of goodish, as does hot fairy cop. Though even there I'm only 90% certain. But the light fay? Evidence is mixed. It may be more like greater and lesser evil.

Right - I didn't think it was a choice between good and evil either; except of course, that the fairy cop (Dyson?) seems sympathetic.

It will be nice when we get more backstory.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, I don't think light and dark necessarily aligns with good and evil, a least from a human POV. And she explicitly chose to be on the side of humans, whatever that means.

As for the Buffiness - the dialog is pretty quippy.
