You all gonna be here when I wake up?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I can buy Buffy or Vampirella fighting in spine-endangering heels since they both have super powers, but not so much just a well-trained agent.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

My theory is that this Nina is a shape-shifter

has to be. No real person with any real emotions would not have crumbled at Olivia's heartfelt confiding in you that you are her real mother and how much pain she is in from the migraines.

I mean really. What kind of monster would Nina have to be? She keeps the lotion in the basket.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I love that Olivia Dunham (every version) always wears shoes that are appropriate for action.

My theory is that this Nina is a shape-shifter, just like the alterna-Broyles. Or maybe they're not, but in cahoots together.

I think Nina is the boss. Jones seemed almost nervous when he was reporting to her. I do kind of wonder if this Nina is actually from the (amber timeline) red-verse and blue-verse Nina is locked up somewhere.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just hate it when action-y women are put into heels. It's ridiculous. When the Leverage people started putting Parker in heels, I was so disappointed.

Suddenly all of my sidebar ads in other tabs are for boots akin to ita's last link.

I've just seen the first 2 eps of Alcatraz. Anyone else think that Sam Neill's role was written for Peter Coyote, but they couldn't cast him because it's just too close to The 4400?

And until I looked at Sam Neill on IMDB I had no idea that there are 3 Jurassic Park movies.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Lost Girl: the writers are bad ass about her being a killer. No sugar coating. Even though the first person we see her kill is a rapist, no question that she kills to survive and no hint that she sticks to bad guys. When she almost picks up the guy in the shop in the 2nd episode, and Kenzie tells Bo "we don't kill where we eat", it is clear that if Kenzie had not intervened the guy would have died with a smile on his face.

Also the woman in the trailer park undermined a lazy movie/TV short cut I hate.

Person who was about to be killed is instead unconscious. Person with no medical training glances at the unconscious victim and says "she'll be fine.". Only in this case we see the unconscious woman taken away by an ambulance, and the fairy police talk about the woman as though she is dead. So either Bo was wrong, and she killed the woman after, all just took a bit of time for trailer-park woman to die, or at any rate it was damn close.

I guess we will see if having fairy cop as willing sex partner/food source who does not die, plus shot in the arm from randy human doc will give Bo the option of not killing - other than in self-defense.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I really like the idea of there being Fairy Police. :-)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

But they aren't really fae police right? They are fae who are police officers. Hiding in plain sight.
