A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
It just is bizarre to me that a guy who was the lead on two major sci-fi franchises got cast a henchman anywhere.
Do we know what he's been auditioning for? I can see why he's not head evil guy in this storyline in terms of casting (he's perfectly capable, I'm sure, but the guy in that role whose name is *completely* escaping me right now is really well suited to the turn).
I think he took some time off to deal with Francesca's fight against cancer, though he's in the upcoming Bad Kids Go to Hell movie and still has that web series Naught for Hire in development hell.
he trimmed down a lot--lost at least 20 lbs and was working out hard
I thought he was way too skinny on his SG1 run. he looked different on Chuck, but he looked healthier to me. his face is definitely wider though. i'm surprised people didn't recognize him. if nothing else, the voice would be a dead giveaway.
He would have looked fine to me on SG-1 if I hadn't seen him in his bulkier quarterback mode on Farscape (rrrrowwwllll!), but even a 9.5 is a bit of a letdown after someone's been a 10 for years.
I think he took some time off to deal with Francesca's fight against cancer
Oh, I hadn't heard she was ill. How's she doing? (For those who don't know, Francesca Bueller's quite a great actress in her own right, although I don't think she's done much in the US.)
that's probably part of the problem for me too, Matt.
sorry to hear that Francesca was ill.
Oh, I hope Francesca is better and that Ben will soon be getting bigger and better parts.
I don't actually know any details about her care, I just remember reading a con report where he made it known that she had cancer (breast, I think). Hopefully she's safely cancer-free by now.
Horrifying question discovered on Tumblr:
What if the Statue of Liberty is a giant Weeping Angel?
And no one has noticed because tourists are constantly looking at it.
I loved that question.
I believe I should include a picture of the Statue of Liberty in my "blink" folder on Pinterest.
