'Sleeper'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Not sure it was on Lost Girl that I saw the promo.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Season 2 of US Being Human started last night, it's on just before Lost Girl. It looks like more of the same to me - if you hated it before you'll probably still hate it.

Sorry for not being clear which show I was talking about.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, personally I like it better than the UK original, but if you weren't into it by episode 6 it's not for you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For some reason my TiVO has decided to make some stuff rather more optional than I intended. So I'm having to force it to record the US BH. I'm behind on that starting up.

I liked Lost Girl. It's filling a hole that 17th Precinct can't. And Alcatraz seemed fine--sci fi for normal people, but not not for sci fi people.

I find it amusing that one of the bad guys from Lost Girl is saving lives on Flashpoint every week.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, I had just watched the episode of Flashpoint that introduces that character so was surprised to see him again.

FYI - Amazon deal of the day is Farscape - dvd or bluray.

I'm actively spitting (I'll do a literal spit in a couple seconds when I get up to brush my teeth--one of them will be dedicated to them) at the projected changes. Sure, they gotta handle their shit somehow, but seriously? Give me some advance information that actually looks interesting.

Their execution might turn out to be good, but the description that's supposed to get me in leaves me cold and irritable.

I don't think I could get that mad about the US version, because I'm not as attached. But I still find it entertaining.

They've released a media pack where they give character descriptions and a hint of the conflicts to come updated for the new season. It's at their show page on the BBC website, if you're interested.
