Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

We watched all the Xmas specials (except for End of Time, which I don't count even though it aired on Xmas) Death counts differ incredibly from Davis to Moffet. Christmas Invasion: 2 deaths of characters who were in the credits. Runaway Bride: 1 death. Voyage of the Damned: Five deaths, including the companion. Next Doctor: Approximately six? (the four workhouse heads, the CyberKing lady, the priest at the funeral... plus the offscreen death of the companion's wife and intended deaths of hundreds of kids.

Christmas Carol: none, really, except for the implied upcoming tragic death of the singing lady. The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe: none.

I'n not making a judgement call on what's better or worse, it's just interesting.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Well, Moffat doesn't need to kill a lot of people when he can just kill Rory over and over.

My brother hasn't watched Doctor Who, but he plans to. Except back in May, he complained to me that he had just gotten spoiled.

What did he get spoiled for?

"Rory dies," he said.

Is it wrong that my (internal) reaction was "HA HA HA HA WHICH TIME?"

Art Crawl!!!

Not at all.

Personally, I loved this year's special. Possibly because the thing at the end reminded me of me and my situation re: Christmas.

Also: "River is a good girl and told us all about it" That's right - the Doctor is their son-in-law.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I watched the most recent episode of Chuck last night. It was an excellent episode. I'm really going to miss this show when it's done.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My DVR neglected to record the last Chuck. I am sad.

It's good to see Chuck going out with style in its last season.

Art Crawl!!!

Watching Misfits on Hulu. Loving it. Up to the beginning of the 3rd season.

It's too bad it's not going to be on actual tv.
