Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

FINALLY someone's been eaten by a dinosaur!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Sadly, not the writers.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Surely Brannon Braga's ego is big enough to count as an honorary dinosaur?

I will give them credit for a dinosaur and blowing shit up simultaneously.

Knowing we almost definitely won't get any more eps makes me unexpectedly sad for Mira.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was pretty sure her bosses were going to screw her out of getting back to her daughter anyway.

Apparently, I will put up with a lot of ridiculousness for the spectacle of someone racing between fireballs while being chased by a dinosaur. That was pretty sweet.

Art Crawl!!!

Hee.

And I agree - she was never going to see her daughter.

Now, did the Sixers go with the guys who marched north?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I think the Sixers went north with the convoy.

I'm unclear on one thing - what happened to the dinosaur? did it come through? fall behind to be burned/blown up? lost in an interdimensional passageway? (and, if the latter, will it come popping out at some point? cranky and slightly singed)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So is anyone else watching Primeval? It's my silly brainless TV show, and it looks like they just wrapped up Series 5 on BBCA. The ending was a bit predictable: Philip saw the error of his ways and sacrificed himself nobly, but at least Abby isn't pregnant (which I was really worried about). I do wish Ciaran McMenimen were more engaging: he's supposed to be charismatic and mysterious, but he just doesn't come across that way to me.

But at least they didn't kill off Lester or Connor, which I half expected them to do.
