Orginally the Buffista sentiment on Grimm was negative. How much has that shifted? A few of us seem to really like it. Do most agree?
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I caught my first part of an episode tonight, and quickly fled the hamfisted nonchalant infodump from one of the characters.

I liked it from the beginning, but I'm an easy sell on Fantasy Procedurals, apparently. It's not the smartest show I've ever watched, but it's enjoyable.
I enjoy it. If it moves to Thursdays I will watch it more regularly. (Friday nights at 8 pm - SPN AND Fringe.)
Yes, I like both of the fairy tale based shows. And, apparently, both shows are doing well. I wonder if Fox is regretting not picking up Precinct 12 (or whatever number it was.)
The real fairy-tale aspect of Grimm is the "procedural" part of the policing. I can understand that the Grimm cop might need to go outside the law, but his older, more experienced mentor (another good actor in a blah role) ignores or freely breaks basic procedure all over the place.
It's like fingernails on a legal blackboard. SIGH
That said -- there's good bones in the setup and signs of interesting mythology that could be developed. And I love the Blutbad.
I just discovered there's a Grimm Wiki. Blutbad means bloodbath. I knew that. I can't decide if I'm going to keep watching.
I'm on the fence about Grimm. I like the idea a lot, but the actual show isn't really doing it for me. I can't put my finger on why not.

that's an eloquent way to put much of my dislike. I thought the pilot was boring. I have not seen any other episodes, except I did catch 10 minutes of last week's and was not impressed.
I still prefer "Once Upon a Time."
I just started watching Grimm and am really enjoying it so far. The wolf guy always doing some random hobby when the detective calls makes me laugh.
The Blutbad is def. the best part of Grimm.
