If only it really were larger inside than out ....
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Ha, nice! We bought a friend a cute little mini-fridge once, but that looks awesome.
As a companion piece, a K-9 cooler?
It's taken me until Wednesday to say it, but man, I am enjoying The Walking Dead. I tried the new railroad show immediately following it, but found it to slow to stick with. Also it didn't have Norman Reedus, so that might have played a part in my disinterest.
I didn't read the graphic novels so I am pretty unspoiled. I do follow some tweets though that have given away certain points. I'm not worried though because the tv show doesn't seem to regard the novels as a Bible.
Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus are charming me into falling for characters that are polar opposite of who I would be falling for in real life. It's fun to see them having so much fun with the fans.
There was a throw away line last week(I think) where Rick said it didn't matter what the guy at the CDC said, all that mattered was now. I wanted to yell, "Nooooo!" because it is driving me crazy what the CDC guy whispered in Rick's ear.
Each week has managed to leave me open mouthed at the end of the episodes because I was not expecting something to happen. I think I'm enjoying Talking Dead that airs after episodes as much as the actual show now. It fulfills my fannish desire for discussion. I love people guesting on the discussions like Felicia Day and talking earnestly about what would need to happen if there was a zombie apocalypse.
I do feel better prepared now though.
I love The Walking Dead like whoa.
I keep eyeballing the compilation of the comics and saying YES...NO...YES...NO.
Damn, I am loving Daryl so much. That little tiny scene with Carol at the end...
And Theresa, it's also making me bugshit not knowing what CDC doc told Rick. And did the walkie-talkie batteries run dry or something?
And Shane? WTFF? I mean, I get it. Kind of. I do. Live or die.
BUT. BUT!!! It was point-blank range! Have the fucking decency (um) to shoot poor fat Otis in the head, goddamn it. Kneecap him, so he can feel all the pain? Dude, NOT on.
I scream at the TV screen every Sunday. This is the mark of a great show. If I am not shrieking at the screen or staring in slack-jawed Holy Shititude, I don't come back.
I tried to watch Train to Hell, or whatever, and I didn't think it was bad; it just didn't catch me.
Watched the first 2 eps of OUaT; meh. Sorry, Jane Espenson.
Also -- is this where American Horror Story talk is? Because I also love this show. It's crazy-crazy creepy effed up and I love it so far.
AHS is in Cable Drama.
Agreed that Talking Dead is unexpectedly amusing.
So... Why IS the vet keeping zombies locked in his barn?
Friends and family?
It took me some careful looking to figure it out, and then... ha, ha, ha! Too true. And awesomely so.
