TB,
I don't think so. I think he is the woodsman from Snow White who refused to cut out SW's heart.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What I want to know is why Prince Charming gets a real name while Snow White is stuck with Snow?
Ginger,
we may yet get another name for her. They are providing info in drips and drabs. Then too, I thought Snow White was her name. Like the name her mother gave her!
I never really thought about it in the fairy tale, but when the Evil Queen says things like "I must get revenge for what Snow took from me," it sounds odd.
Speculation on how they keep OAUpT going for a second season if they have one. Maybe lifting the curse does not get them back to fairytale land? Magic works here, but differently, so nobody knows how to get back. From there all sorts of paths the show could take.
For instance:once the curse is lifted, all sorts of anomalies start showing up in government databases, so heroes and villains have to band together to stay out of secret government detention facilities... Except some of the villains (or maybe some of the heroes) betray them all and do a deal with the government and they have to deal with that as well. Just one example, but once it is established that lifting the curse does not return them to their home, there are lots of ways to move forward.

I think it is her name. I'm mainly distracted by the fact that her lips should really be redder.
You know what distracts me? With the short hair, the actress's ears stick out a bit. I find it charming, but it sure isn't the ears I'd associate with Snow White.
I find myself wondering if the ears thing is on purpose to make her look dowdier?
I think that the Grimm English translation that I read when I was a kid (my grandmother's book) says that Snow White is her given name. I enjoy OUaT but I am distracted trying to figure out how Henry and the other kids age, but the adults don't (oh and why is Red Riding Hood a hotpants wearing hoochy mamma)
Wasn't the Evil Queen's curse supposed to transport everyone to some terrible place, but at the same time it was supposed to allow her happiness, aka her happy ending? Because they were all indeed transported to our reality (which, ya know, you can argue over whether or not it's a "terrible" place) but she sure seems like a miserable bitch to me. She still has some sort of authority over other people as Regina, but I see only a modicum of satisfaction in her life and no actual happiness. (Maybe that would be easier to decipher if they would tell us what the hell it was that Snow White took from her that made her start on the warpath to begin with.)
Also, I made it through the entire first episode convinced that Regina remembered their alternate lives, but the questions she asked Mr. Gold at the end of the second episode (when she was asking him about Henry - where he got Henry, was there anything special about Henry, and so on) made it clear that Mr. Gold is the only one we've seen so far that remembers their past. Which makes sense I guess, since he was the source of the curse.
