The Walking Dead -- Shane. I don't know if I want to like him any more.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Yeah. What the living fuck. And here I thought he might end up doing the honorable thing and telling Otis to leave him behind, given that HE was the injured one slowing them down.
On the other hand, it was a difficult choice, and I can see why he did it.
On the other other hand, what the living fuck.
Not that I'm sure, given the same circumstances, what I'd do. I know that if I did it, it would haunt me to the end of my life, that's for sure.
Well, it sure seems like it's already haunting Shane.
I hope so. it was a dick move.

I'm not defending him because there is no defense, but the editing last night was crazy. Not even five minutes before Shane did what he did, he DID say that very thing. "Here take my pack, both of us can't make it." He volunteered to stay behind and be eaten. Granted most people when their sacrifice was refused would have made other decisions, but he took Otis at his word.
This isn't the first Walking Dead where I've been sitting with my mouth open at the end. Is there any place this show won't go? And that whole storyline overshadowed the awesomeness of Daryl. Nobody looked for him when he was lost as a kid. He found his way home and made a samwich. Hee.
eta: They had me in the dark until the flashback. I kept looking at Shane's chest and hair for bite marks. I thought for sure he had been bitten and that was the reason for the freaky eyes. But I never guessed what he really did.
etaa: Someone pointed out that Dale had a pack of Morleys. I completely spaced the Xfiles shout out due to intense holding of my breath.
Heh -- Darryl's brother Merle's handy stash of drugs included some blue meth crystals as a tribute to Breaking Bad. I've been told there's a lot of carry-over with the support people in FX and set dressing and so on with that show.
Yeah, I was surprised at the end of Walking Dead and you KNOW it's going to come out sometime. (If this were TVD it would come out next episode - but I'm sure that it won't come out that quickly.)
Terra Nova:
Possible I was in a cranky mood, but the dinosaur in the egg story line made me @@. Then again, I'd want a pet dinosaur, too, if possible.
Not loving their non-system of justice. That's going to bite them in the ass one day. Which is the point, I guess.
Would like to start getting more of a feel for what's going on with the Sixers one of these days.
Eh.
