Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Terra Nova:

The "moss on the north side of the trees" bit made me grind my teeth.

Oh God, that made me do the same thing. Not just because it's stupid in and of itself, but so indicative of "they just don't care" on the part of the writers and producers, that they couldn't be bothered to research even a tiny bit about wilderness survival.

BTW, their characters are in a fracking jungle, which is going to have a whole 'nother set of survival rules that you could exploit for story potential.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I guarantee that if I were in a real life version of Terra Nova, I would be dead within 7 days due to an insect bite.

Have insects or smaller creatures come up as a possible hazard?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

So ... having set up their little walled settlement on the hatching grounds, does this mean they're literally walking on eggshells?

Art Crawl!!!

I know the paleontologists used to think that dinosaur eggs were leathery... but as you said.

I suspect we'll see a story where one of the kids hides a dinosaur egg and hijinks ensue.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Or the little one - Zoe? (or alternative spelling) - pulls the "it followed me home" thing and conceals one in her room (with ensuing hijinks - ever tried to housebreak a dinosaur?).

Art Crawl!!!

I keep thinking that the carnivorous plant she has in her room may provoke hijinks.

You'd think they would. I've read that higher oxygen levels allowed for MUCH bigger insects back in the day, though that may have been the early Jurassic well before the time they've traveled back to.

Well there was that giant crawly bug in the pilot.
