Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Oh, wait! That "Look at you. You are beautiful" line was a throw back. Didn't 10 say that at some point ?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Also, I didn't realize until I saw the credits that David Walliams was the surrender guy. I know him mostly from British panel shows, where he's hysterical.

I totally called Dana's whitefont before I rushed to imdb for the answer. I have an uncanny skill with voices. I immediately recognized Walliams vocal inflections because I have never seen him do anything but broad sketch comedy.

It was interesting/nice to see him actually act.

I have to say that I enjoyed this episode the most of any of second Smith series, if not the entirety of the Smith reign.

I just wish we could get more of Rita. I loved that character and thought she would be a much better companion.

The preview gave me a little thrill. Dave! And Cybermen! Excellent.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I watched Doctor Who tonight, and I have to ask - are they really gone? Did he really do the wise adult thing and let them go?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Why is everybody whitefonting a US airing?

And to Zenkitty's last question - I'm guessing it's not going to take, particularly because they still need to resolve the whole "who shot the Doctor" from the first episode.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I don't think they're gone for good, unless the BBC is OK with lying about who has signed on for certain seasons. But I guess that would be excellently evil of them.

CRAIG! I was so excited when I saw him in the preview. "The Lodger" is such a fun episode.

Scared. Better safe than sorry.

Craig, not Dave. Where did I get Dave?

Anyway, I'm excited to see what they come up with for him.

I just knew that when they set Rita up as a potential companion and made me like her that they were going to kill her off. Bastards. A Muslim companion would have been cool.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I ronically, the thing most needing whitefonting in the past page is the news that they're signed for next season. Board rules are a little confusing on that front, I think.
