Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

could they be any more anvily that dead girl was sleeping with the counselor.

Yes. Because I missed that detail.

not your mom's socks.

almost caught up because I watched Torchwood 2.02 & 2.03 on demand w/teh cable last night. That was good. I like using my cable products for more than just Bob The Builder marathons.

And "And I thought the end of the world couldn't get any worse" was pretty funny. I'm new to this, and perhaps way off base, but did Tosh look way too office-y, even for her character?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

That would have been funnier if I hadn't seen it two thousand times in the previews.

I must have missed those previews or forgot. I probably hadn't had Fox on since the Super Bowl, unless House was new last Tuesday.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I managed to sneak a download between move trips, so I saw Torchwood, but after this I'll probably be back on bbca scheduling.

Anyway.

Torchwood 2.4: How much do I adore Rhys? Let me count the muchness. This was very satisfying in terms of character development with him, and I'm so glad he didn't get retconned again.

Also, of course she didn't fess up about Owen. "The bloke in the coat, are you fucking him?" "Err, no, but I fucked the other one. No, not the one with the tie."

Otherwise I felt that the relationships were all a little bit off. There definitely should be residual Owen/Gwen, and I don't know or care where they're going with the Jack/Gwen stuff. I guess Ianto knows what he's getting.

About Tosh, I am conflicted and irritated and I'm going to have to write the whole big thing about race sooner than later I'm thinking. But not now, because I'm supposed to be finishing making a run. Hopefully be back soonish, after I buy a cable for my phone.

Oh, Ianto, you fucking badass, you. Love.

Art Crawl!!!

Ooh, TNT is going to have a 3rd Librarian movie:

The company is currently in pre-production on the third installment of the Librarian franchise, "Curse of the Judas Chalice," which will begin shooting this spring in New Orleans.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I didn't really care much for the second Librarian flick, but the first one was so much fun! I hope they bring some of that cheese-tastic joy to the upcoming installment.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I almost highlighted the whitefont! Stupid reflexes!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

It's no more than is implied by this week's trailer. But Jarsy is a GIANT TEASE nonetheless.
