Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I loved the Haven episode from this week. I have a big weakness for Groundhog Day ep in general, and it was surprisingly well written and emotional for Haven. Nathan's death pretty much gutted me. Especially, "it doesn't hurt; the only thing I feel is you", which made me tear up because I am a GIANT SAP. Wow, did this ep ever hit my buttons hard.

It was interesting to see the usually self-possessed Audrey so undone by her failure. Understandable as her whole identity is wrapped around being the Troubled Whisperer. She has nothing and nobody outside this town, literally. She has the personal relationships she formed in town, but the time loops took that away from her, too, one by one. I really felt for Audrey here. Emily Rose did an excellent job.

Compassionately intolerant

I really enjoyed this week's Haven as well. Usually, I fast forward until I hit the Duke and/or Brother's moments, but this week, I watched every second closely.

That 'all I feel is you' nearly did me in. I wish Audrey wasn't quite so oblivious to Nathan's feelings.

I like what Jason Priestley is doing too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Love Nathan finally telling Duke how to escape the mancrush. I had thought he was just being childish.

Xena and Being Erica also did Groundhog Day episodes, and they were both pretty funny. It seems to be a really hard premise to screw up.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I feel morally certain that Eureka has done one, but my morning fog is too strong right now.

Yes, Eureka's was pretty good too--it's where we said goodbye to Stark.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I agree with your comments about Haven. I really loved it and I loved that Audrey wasn't all cupcakes and sunshine with her "boyfriend" at the end. The whole thing really hit me in all the right emotional places. It's like everyone (generally) was acting like an adult and handled their business okay with not a lot of jealousy bullshit.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I don't know that she's oblivious to Nathan's feelings, more that she's worried that the only reason that he wants her is that he can feel her. On the other hand, when his affliction was taken, he didn't go out and try to find someone else.
