To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Still catching up on Alphas, but Gary is possibly my favorite character in a sci-fi show ever. Neither the show or the actor is condescending on the condition (as far as I can tell), and I love that he has a distinct sense of humor. Among other things, I love how much he gets up in Bill's grill knowingly.

Other than a lack of Zoe, I enjoyed last night's Eureka quite thoroughly.

I thought Friday's ep was in line with season 1. What did I miss?

NOthing. It made horror tropes less cool in Season one and was continuing to do so in season 2.

Yup, another good Eureka. Jack looks nice in a suit, but I think I miss the uniform already.

Warehouse 13, on the other hand . . . cognitive dissonance with Fargo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I could barely pay attention to WH13. I liked Eureka and Alphas better.

The Van Gogh stuff I liked. I'm sure I needed to pay more attention to exactly what evil FBI lady said so that New Guy (I should learn his name, I like him) wouldn't catch her lying. The video game stuff I didn't enjoy at all.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm finding that whole thing interesting, that he has not caught her in a lie.

Also, was the plan all along to bug (heh) the painting or whatever artifact? If so, how did they plan to get it away from the W13 agents, since the only way that she got it was that a leaf happened to get stuck under the laser doohickey. And did she sneeze on the painting on purpose?

It just seems so badly planned.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Maybe she was planted to see if she could take advantage when she could, and if it wouldn't have worked this time, she would have tried again.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm loving zuisa's trip through Fringe! Pinkner and Wyman have spilled on the title for the S4 premiere.

I'm wondering if this [link] will make it more difficult for me to keep up this season.
