I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Someone should start a Science Fiction channel. I'd watch that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How would they fund it?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

How would they fund it?

With righteousness and beauty?

Yeah, that would last all of about 1.47 microseconds.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Fringe continues to very high on the HSQ, as you all forewarned. I'm about halfway through season 3, and I've slowed my watching way down as I really don't want to be finished with this show. I am completely aware that it's coming back on in the fall, but... still.

I also am pretty sure I would watch an entire show just about the Fringe team in the Alternate Universe. They are fantastic.

I just popped in to Netflix to add some random HoYay! to my queue, and I continue to wonder about their recommendation engine. It suggested BSG for me, which isn't weird, although I have no interest in it. What was weird was why.

Based on your interest in: Blade Runner: Theatrical Cut, The Princess Bride and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Blade Runner for the sci fi, Crouching Tiger for kickass chicks, I don't know Theatrical Cut, and I have no clue why the Princess Bride.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I don't know Theatrical Cut

Heh. That was the edition of Blade Runner.

My absolute favourite Netflix rec was when I added the new Friday the 13th to my queue and it suggested My Bloody Valentine. But quite often I have no idea what they're on about.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

They are always doing things like "You will like this FDR Documentary because of your interest in: Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development, and Veggie Tales". I will probably like the documentary, because I watch every documentary ever, but...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I can see where there might be a nontrivial number of people who like all of the "your interest in" movies who also like BSG. I mean, I do, and surely there are lots of people like me. I assume their algorithm is some kind of correlation with no explanation behind it.
