Book: Captain, you mind if I say grace? Mal: Only if you say it out loud.

'Serenity'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I have all of Game of Thrones downloaded, actually! I will get to it eventually. I also have the first novel, which I will also get to as soon as I finish the book I've been laboring though for months.

Doctor Who is DEFINITELY a long-term commitment. But I'm up through the first couple episodes of season four (Donna! She's hilarious) and as for Farscape I think the last episode I watched was 3x01.

At some point someone is going to stage an intervention with me and my excessive sci-fi/fantasy watching ways.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Colin gets a great review on IO9 and I agree with them. He was in fine form yesterday. Exasperated comedy Colin is one of my favourite flavours.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

His physicality is just great. Aside from everything else!

I agree. "Somebody put her in front of a cartoon!"

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, this last episode was particularly enjoyable.

Compassionately intolerant

His physicality is just great.

I got a total, Buster Keaton vibe, delightfully so.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

He also got a good in-passing review in The New Yorker (it was mostly about Alphas, but went into Eureka and W13 as they are all in the same block on Monday). Unfortunately I can't link to the article because it was last week and is now in the subscriber-only archives.

I also agree it was a great episode and especially for Colin.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I certainly hope Colin was having as much fun as it looked.
