When you guys said I was unprepared, you were not lying. I have watched waaaaay too many episodes this weekend and am far too invested for my own good.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
right? where are you up to now?
I'm actually thinking of starting to watch Fringe from the beginning.
I just watched the season two episode Jacksonville where The building from the alternate universe falls into ours, so they all go to Walter's old lab in Jacksonville to see if he can get Olivia to recognize the objects from 'over there' which of course eventually works SO NOW SHE KNOWS THAT PETER IS FROM THERE. AND THIS IS PROBABLY BAD NEWS. But I am loving everything about it.
Oh, it's bad news AND IT ONLY GETS WORSE. AND MORE AWESOME.
YES. That was a HSQ for me. Well, one of them. I'm like: how the fuck is this going to go? And Walter was so pitiful.
HSQ?? I am going to play ignorant and say I have no idea what that stands for.
I feel really bad for Walter.
Holy Shit Quotient. Like, when you're watching a show and go HOLY SHIT!!! Fringe has high HSQ.
Aaah, yes. Fringe does indeed have incredibly high HSQ.
I just watched the next episode, where Peter dies and he goes and takes him from the other dimension, and OH MY GOD, broke my heart. I think I always thought Fringe would be fun; I didn't think the acting would be as strong as it is.
But even though the episode was tragic, I thought the '80s style opening credits were fantastically hilarious and a very nice touch.
dang. you HAVE been power watching.
I have basically nothing to do right now. I'm home from my job for a couple months, my family is at work all day... so yeah. Lots of TV watching.
I feel sort of bad about it, but I honestly am getting other things done as well, but yeah. It is an excessive amount of TV watching. I just unfortunately tend to have this habit of getting REALLY into shows, which is a bit of a problem.
