A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

I was honestly in suspense as to whether or not Myka would come back. Well played.
Me too. I was surprised she's back already. Glad, just surprised. I'm irritated that she's straightening her hair, though. Pete seemed toned down, which was good; they'd been writing him as rather an idiot in the last few episodes. I'm feeling a little sorry for H.G., which is also surprising, since the character annoyed the hell out of me. I like Jinks a lot and I hope he stays around. I keep expecting him to speak with an English accent; maybe he reminds me of some Brit I can't think of.
I, too, loved that Myka was back quickly and ditto on feeling bad for H.G Wells. I heard some rumor about H.G.-centric spin-off somewhere? Or maybe I'm making that up.
I know Pete is supposed to be an overgrown adolescent, but the way he was treating that FBI agent made me really, REALLY, angry, regardless of the fact that she turned out to be Evil. The combination of the condescension and the sexual harassment made me want to bitchslap him so much. I hated that the whole thing was played for laughs. As a professional woman who deals with this kind of crap all the time (... Oh, God, let me tell you about the time an older male colleague called me "honey" in a professional meeting. Except I can't think of the words because of the RAGE BLACKOUT), stuff like this makes me see red. Yeah, it's an entertainment, yada, yada. I don't have to like it.
Yeah, I didn't like that either, Vonnie. He hasn't been like that with other professional women, so I assumed (for the sake of my blood pressure) that he was doing it deliberately to annoy her. Counterproductive, yes, but Pete doesn't always think things through.
A male manager called me "sweetheart" in a meeting once. I calmly called him "sweetiecakes" back, in my best sarcastic-irony tone, and I thought several people in the room were going to have aneurysms. Later my boss's boss told me it was all she could do not to bust out laughing. I'm surprised they didn't fire me.
I just watched last season's ender of W13 again. Myka's decision was so hard and it was hard on everyone to see her go. I'm glad she's back, but I wish they'd let the emotional consequences of that decision play out a little more. And I wish we'd gotten more than one episode to get to know the new guy before she came back. I know Joanna Kelly is probably contracted to appear in every episode, and having her "consult" in the season premiere was great, but I wish they'd brought her back in the second episode instead. A little more angst, in this case, would have been good.
I know Joanna Kelly is probably contracted to appear in every episode
I don't think they do that. You can pay them and keep them home.
If I paid for Joanna Kelly, I'd use her as much as I could.
And I don't mean porn.
Although if porn were appropriate, I'd totally mean porn.
W13: I'll hand-wave that Pete's spider-sense was subconsciously alerting him that the FBI gal was hinky.
Aside from that repellant sexism, I thought the writing on this past episode was more witty and sharp than last season.
Yes, I'm THAT far behind on watching. Still haven't seen ALPHAS yet, but presumably it won't go bad on my TiVo.
OMG, how much money did they spend on this episode?
