Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, I hope I get THAT one! Then I will be supercool! Although those bags are ginormous and unwieldy and I don't actually like using them.

That's true! Except I already have a Swiss Army backpack that is awesome. A bag is useful to have to just toss things into on the floor. I think last year, my preferred bag was the Things from Another World bag.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I totally thought of Supernatural when the guy on Alphas drank bleach. Except I still have to cover my eyes for the SPN scene, and I could watch the Alphas one no problem.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I know it's perfectly normal for someone to wear a Lacoste shirt, but on the logoless TV, it really stands out on Pete.

logoless except for the Prius, you mean. Could that placement have lasted any longer?

Logoless clothing. I watching Leverage and White Collar and Eureka. Car placement ain't no thing. I don't remember--did they extol its virtues? That's what I notice.

When Jinks first pulls up to the Warehouse, Claudia goes on and on about his car's features in the guise of giving him a hard time.

White Collar has ruined me good.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I finally saw the premiere of Alphas. I found it fairly boring, but I will probably give it a couple more episodes.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm with you. I didn't find it boring, but a lot of setup setup setup. I am hoping that future episodes will have some more variety in the structure.

I also appreciated Aldis Hodge for being against type for the 1,000 time after seeing alphas.
