agreed and conceded, ita. i don't think the writers thought Damon would be as popular as he became. why, i don't know. Damon from the books is still a sarcastic ass much of the time, but he never compels anyone to have sex with him. give him free things and let him drink from them, absolutely. but there's no rape.
follow up question for this discussion. are rapists in fiction irredeemable?

Well, that was... thorough! (and surprisingly entertaining!)
I swear I didn't recognize that "Pope" (the criminal chef) on Falling Skies used to be "Major Davis" on SG1! No wonder he's stealing every scene he's in (not that it's hard to do with most of the cast excepting Noah Wyle).
That took me a minute too! I did, eventually come to me, without IMDB intervention.
He really is good in this.
