Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Steven Moffat had an idea in 1995, and then he grew up and made it real.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

ita, the best part is the next comment:

Good stuff.. I really like it... If only the Doctor Who writers could be so imaginative...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It’s the Great Dalek, Charlie Brown (Expand it to see the whole thing.)

Art Crawl!!!

Outcasts: very confusing because people that I thought were killed kept popping back up, i.e., I thought Jamie Bamber killed his son - but then he was alive.

I thought Jamie Bamber was killed - but there he was in the previews again.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have no idea what's going on on Outcasts! I am interested enough to keep watching, but it's all very cryptic and mysterious. I'm doubting that Jamie Bamber's wife (shoot, she has a good name, too, but I can't remember it) will stay dead, based on nothing but the general vibe of the show.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I tried to record Outcasts 3 times and each time my DVR recorded one minute and then balked at it and stopped recording. We just had a software update and the DVR has been glitchy ever since. I just checked and I don't think Outcasts is going to replay again this week.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I didn't last all the way through the premiere of Falling Skies despite the valiant efforts of that nice Noah Wyle. Perhaps if he'd not been forced to repeat that he used to teach military history every 15 minutes or so, or if there'd been more in the way of likeable and/or not-stupid characters....

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ah, I'd worried that I was missing out by watching the AFI tribute to Morgan Freeman instead, but it sounds like I got the better part of the deal.
