Fiona, what you said has me wondering if River was framed to some degree. She certainly doesn't seem to find Stormcage a hardship. Also, a prison is damned good protection.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Oooh, oooh, I just had a thought. If River really IS part TimeLord, and if she can regenerate (let's assume so, if the little girl who was shown regenerating is her, though it's still the question what the hell she was doing in New York in 1970, but let that pass), then all that needs to be done is pull her out of the Library memory banks somehow and she'll be fine. Or, well, she'll regenerate.
Or something.
ETA: Anne, don't forget that the little girl is a weapon. And weapons kill .
Good point, Fiona. I just have a feeling that things are not as straightforward as they seem.
Also the fact that River is a weapon puts an interesting spin on the Dalek's reaction in last season's finale.
Am I the only one who, after watching DW 6.07, really, really
Nope! Although I don't know what visual punchline you're referring to.
PC, after the Silurian and her girlfriend have a little spat after a comment made by the Silurian, they make up. The Silurian then asks, affectionately, "why do you put up with me?" and then immediately stops an attempted escape all the way on the other side of the room--with her tongue. This is then followed by a very knowing look.
Ha! I missed that.
That totally cracked me up too Anne. heh.
I also had to tsk, tsk at the florid press release last week about NO DALEKS THIS SEASON, right before they air an episode with everybloodybody else ! Moffat, you cheeky boy.
Yeah, but the Doctor wasn't FIGHTING them. Who were the weird alien-looking lizardy things that were all around with big bug eyes?
They were Silurian redshirts .
