Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

'The Message'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So Chuck might go up against SPN? Huh.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I think I loved that episode. I may have said to The Girl, "Would you mind terribly if I said that Doctor Who was the best thing that happened this weekend?" She seemed OK with that.

I can see that. Your own wife, sure that's important. The Doctor's Wife? That's important to several industrialized countries, and a few that aren't. Plus? Neil Gaiman wrote 'em.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I suspect Neil Gaiman has been dreaming (heh!) about writing a Doctor Who episode for a lot of his life.

Idris was the voice of the interloper? Coooool!

ETA: Never mind. I completely missed that character name.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, if SPN moves an hour earlier. I don't see SPN doing that.

There have been rumours that it will take the Smallville spot. We'll see if they play out.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I suspect Neil Gaiman has been dreaming (heh!) about writing a Doctor Who episode for a lot of his life.

It felt like that, didn't it? Such a joyful, intense episode. I was either guffawing or shrieking in terror through most of it. Some wonderful lines, and the psychological terror of the corridor scenes was fantastic.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

There have been rumours that it will take the Smallville spot. We'll see if they play out.

That seems counter-intuitive given the level of gore. Then again, TVD has their casually murdering and raping woobie on in the earlier slot, so who knows?

Art Crawl!!!

Grim is going to be up against Fringe (and SPN - if SPN stays where it is.)
