I liked how the TARDIS chose the Doctor, and "stole" him, just like how he stole the TARDIS.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
"What, did you wish really hard?"
"Shut up, not like that."
I adored that line, Barb. The other one I loved was:
"Biting's excellent! It's like kissing, only there's a winner."
Oh, that was lovely.
TARDIS lady was definitely the best part about this episode. I loved the actress -- she did a great job being earnest and amazed and strange and perfectly comfortable with the Doctor.
"The only water in the forest is the river"
I'm assuming that this has something to do with River Song, but I have no idea what.
Yeah, me too, on both counts. Makes me think there must be some connection to Amy Pond as well -- she can't be in the "forest," whatever that means.
Neil Gaiman says, "Here, let me pour buckets of untold stories and potential fic over your head. Oh, and mind if I break your heart while I'm at it?"
The Doctor's Wife: The Lost Scenes
The BBC have released two videos by The Doctor's Wife writer Neil Gaiman, where he discusses scenes from the story that he enjoyed writing for the story, but ultimately were dropped from the final shooting script:
Bizarrely, one of them is UK-only and the other isn't.
Either that or they forgot to make them all UK-only, then changed it WHILE I WAS WATCHING.
I watched them both without problem.
The name Idris is confusing me - she was Niece at first, I thought, but House calls her Idris when they show up in the control room, where did that come from? I prefer her to think of her as named Sexy because that's what the Doctor calls her, it reminds me of Tao Soup. And it's just cute.
Did anyone spot the ninja?
